This month, THG partnered with the same client as the Courtyard by Marriott in Salisbury, NC to furnish the millwork and cabinetry package for the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Smithfield, NC through Five Star Architectural . This is a new-build hotel, and THG hopes to also work with the client on the stone tops and tub surrounds.
Thomas Hospitality Group has gone to contract with the general contractor for the Marriott Vacation Club in Hilton Head, South Carolina. This time-share project for both Five Star and Product Source is exciting as all product will be manufactured out of Atlanta, GA. Five Star will be manufacturing the vanity cabinets and the kitchen cabinets in each of the property's units. Product Source originally specified a substitute quartz from their overseas factory in order to save on costs, but will ultimately be manufacturing Silestone vanity and counter tops for the 122 unit timeshare. This project begins in December and ends in late January.
Thomas Hospitality Group worked with the FF&E procurement agent and Project Management firm of the 365 room Hilton in Knoxville, TN to set up Product Source as the manufacturer of the armoire tops. Importing the granite tops from their overseas factory, Product Source will be delivering this project in mid December of 2012.
Finally, THG was awarded the casework and cabinetry package for the new-build Hilton Garden Inn in Charlotte, NC. This is an exciting project for both THG and Five Star as this will be the first new-build Hilton Garden Inn with the latest scheme. Five Star has completed a number of the Project Grow renovations for Hilton Garden Inn. This project will ship between the 1st and 2nd quarter of 2013.
